TER’s range of position limit switches include aluminum or thermoplastic material limit switches, with single rod or rod with roller, cross rods, “T” rods, all with various types of heads and actuators allowing for diversified switch activation modes. Each series of position limit switch have specific features allowing for a proper selection of a limit switch that best suit a system’s specific needs.
The Tango position limit switch has a series of rods positioned at 60° increments around a central hub providing a higher level of positional accuracy versus the 7551-7552. The rod length and material of construction can be changed depending on application requirements. The housing is rated IP65 and made from glass reinforced nylon.
The 7551-7552 position limit switch has a series of rods positioned at 90° increments around a central hub. The rod length and material of construction can be changed depending on application requirements. The IP66 rated housing is made of die cast aluminum to resist violent impact, corrosion and provide a high degree of resistance to harsh chemicals.
The X-FSC / X-FRZ position limit switches are highly configurable for a variety of applications. The X-FSC can be configured with cross rods in 3 or 4 positions in 90° increments, or with “T” rods in 3 positions in 90° increments. The X-FRZ has a single rod or a rod with roller that moves in a 65° increment with a spring to return to its original position.
The Limitex AP explosion proof limit switch is designed to control movement of machinery in hazardous or potentially explosive environments. The ATEX and IECEx ratings for Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 make it suitable for many hazardous environments involving both dusts and gas. The cross rods move between 3 or 4 maintained positions in 90° increments.
